Have you tried the 6-Minute Miracle Morning?

Do you ever feel like you have too much to do and not enough time to do it?

I think we all feel that way, and probably more often than we’d like to. For this reason, I developed The 6-Minute Miracle Morning for those days when we’re feeling pressed for time.

It’s also perfect for those times when you’re feeling so overwhelmed with your life situation that just thinking about adding one more thing stresses you out.

But rather than having an “all or nothing” mentality, where we don’t do anything because we don’t feel like we have enough time to do it “right,” I’ve discovered that investing just 6 minutes—one minute for each of the SAVERS—can almost immediately get you into an optimal physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual state for the day so that you can show up at your most effective and productive self.

On days that you’re pressed for time, try the following 6-Minute Miracle Morning (and remember you can do the SAVERS in any order)…

Minute 1 – Silence

Spend the first minute sitting in peaceful, purposeful silence. One minute of meditation can calm your nervous system and quiet your mind. You could say a prayer of gratitude to appreciate the moment or pray for guidance on your journey. As you sit in silence, inhaling and exhaling, become fully present to the perfection of the moment.

Minute 2 – Affirmations

Pull out your affirmations—the ones that articulate and remind you of your limitless potential and your top priorities—and read them, with emotion. Remember and affirm that you are just as worthy, deserving, and capable of achieving everything you want in life, as any other person on earth.

Minute 3 – Visualization

Close your eyes, or look at your vision board, and see yourself performing at your best. Mentally rehearse handling your most important tasks for the day with ease. Create an optimal emotional experience that will compel you to overcome procrastination and take action that will move you forward toward your goals.

Minute 4 – Scribing

Pull out your journal, and take just one minute to write down something you’re deeply grateful for, and the top results you’re committed to creating for that day. Cultivating gratitude reminds you that your life is already blessed, and clarifying your top priority for the day gives you direction and increases your productivity.

Minute 5 – Reading

Grab the book you’re reading, and invest one minute to consume a page or two. It only takes one idea to change your life, so be open to receiving that idea. Look for one thing you can incorporate into your day to improve your results.

Minute 6 – Exercise

Stand up and spend the last minute moving your body for 60 seconds. Personally, I do as many jumping jacks as I can, as fast as I can. The point is that you’re getting your heart rate up, increasing blood flow and oxygenating your body, generating energy and increasing your ability to be alert and focused.

________________

In just six minutes, you can completely transform your mental, physical, emotional and spiritual state!

To be clear, my typical Miracle Morning lasts for 60 minutes, and I only do the 6-Minute Miracle Morning when I’m pressed for time. But I’ve found that I can get roughly 60-80% of the benefit of a full Miracle Morning in just six minutes.
