In 2013, Melissa Weaver was diagnosed with breast cancer and put her mental health private practice on hold to undergo treatment.  What she discovered in the process was the opposite of despair.  She describes her experience as a “transformative process.”

Melissa is now a cancer survivor, author of Reconstruction: Defying Cancer and Building a More Purposeful Life, and a professor at Virginia Commonwealth University.  She shares with us her inspiring story and how she plans to give back to the Front Row Foundation, the organization that pivoted her during such a crucial point in her life.

We talk in depth about:

  • How she found clarity at the most difficult time of her life
  • What she learned at our very own Best Year Ever [Blueprint]
  • The top three goals she’s achieved and lessons she learned at BYEB
  • Her exercises for living in the moment and being fully engaged

You can find Melissa’s five-star rated book on Amazon, and you can learn more about her journey at ReconstructedLiving.com.
